Last night I was so hot that....

....all my earwax melted.

I woke to a strange swimmer's ear sensation and investigated with a cotton bud, only to find it was utterly orange they are at least now lovely and clean!

I had a fly go into my ear last night as I was trying to sleep. Had to shove a cotton bud down as it was tickling me. Squished fly guts and ear wax is not a pretty sight

I wish that would happen to my ears,I am very jealous!

Last night I was so hot that I threatened to lay on the floor in A&E if we weren't seen soon(that was to my son I was up there with/because of)and I've now decided that that is what hell is hours trapped in A&E with no air conditioning!

I tried to sleep on the bathroom floor as the tiles were cooler than laying on my bed naked with a fan going, it didn't work as the floor wasn't comfortable...

Mega not envy!!

I can take a photo of the cotton bud when I get home if anyone's really keen?! I must admit I wish I'd taken a photo but that's when you know you have properly fallen down the sporner rabbir hole

I slept ok last night (unusually) so didn't notice the heat.

Ear clearing sounds fantastic though!

I went to bed literally looking like the Michelin man.
Everything was sticky! So I covered it all with talc! Stuff everywhere in the morning but at least I wasn’t stuck to the sheets!!😉🤪🤣😂

I’m on holiday. At the moment in Paris where it is even hotter. We aren’t in an airb&b. With an underground car park which is just so cool it’s lovely. As it still 100 degrees last night at midnight I was seriously contemplating going down there to sleep. Sat here now and still thinking that is a good idea.
