Where to buy decent apple pie?

Have had a bit of a dodgy stomach and when that happens I get a craving for apple pie.

Do any of the main supermarkets do a decent pie? Not like the too sweet ones in Tesco with overcooked pastry and filled mostly with air.

A good pastry shop is probably what I need, but not sure there's any near me.

Sainsbury’s apple pie is decent and also a vote for Marks and Spencer’s.

Ps - hope you feel better soon!

M&S and Co-op do decent apple pies.

Ooh thanks for the quick replies!

Is the M&S one deep filled?

The M&S one is deep and good. I like it best cold, but you can warm it up too.

No, they are all too sweet, buy ready made pastry, cooking apples, sultanas, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and make a far better pie. I don't bother peeling the apples even
