Date night - it's just too hot

What can we do tomorrow for date night? We arrange this weeks ago, but it's just so bloody hot I'm not sure I can face it. Thought about the cinema but then you don't exactly talk to each other do you

Water fight.

Silversun83 · 24/07/2019 21:38

Meal in an air-conditioned restaurant?

Soola · 24/07/2019 22:10

Stroll along a river?

WatcherintheRye · 24/07/2019 22:14

Ice-skating?

LickYouLikeACrispPacket · 24/07/2019 22:16

Paddling at a beach or a river. Picnic in the garden with some cold champagne.

Date night with your DP / DH? Postponement

Date night with a new guy you are desperate to shag? Use the heat as an excuse to get his clothes off!!

babasaclover · 25/07/2019 16:21

@Crunchymum 🤣🤣🤣 husband of nearly 20 years - luckily do still quite like getting his clothes off though 😉

@LickYouLikeACrispPacket love this idea - what we won't be spending on the meal out we can spend on a decent bottle of champers

Dine alfresco somewhere - it won’t be THAT hot in the evening once you’re out of the sun

nothingtowearever · 25/07/2019 18:15

What did you decide to do?

babasaclover · 25/07/2019 18:32

@nothingtowearever we are going to a good Italian - it is air conditioned and you can park right outside. We'd booked our friend to babysit and she loves having our little girl so didn't want to let her down. Now - what to wear 🤣. I usually get dolled up, hair make up etc - but not tonight.

@BlueSkiesLies it's still 32 degrees here - don't want to be out in that. Plus thunder storms coming
