After having spent the day in an air conditioned office my DP informed me (who has spent the day in the seventh circle of hell fanning myself) that it is hot and he is also very hot.

Mine is hot too and irritable. So is the baby. And the toddler. I decided it is my husband's time to do bedtime.

We went to Stratford Upon Avon. Had a nice cold drink in a lovely pub on the river. Had an ice cream sat in the shade watching the boats on the river. Wandered about a few (air conditioned) shops.

If you were doing manual labour in this heat DP I’d sympathise but we plodded about having a lovely day so STFU!!

Well my wife is also hot apparently. I'm from Australia so am able to take it in my stride

My poor teenager is sat in a hospital ward with advanced lung disease and a dose of viral meningitis on top and some utter shit waffle has stolen all the Dyson fans we raised money for last year. I feel he has top spot when it comes to moaning about the heat.

Tell him to go and sleep outside in the garden.

Oh Balula, that’s dreadful. He can moan away. He is entitled. When you find out who took it get them to go and stoke the boilers.

I have no idea who stole them we have a local charity that raises moe t for lots of things (toys/dvd players/equipment for parents room etc) and over time it all goes walkabouts. Someone once walked out with a microwave! The games consoles for the kids all have to be padlocked down now it's awful.

Anyway on a lighter note, my DH has made a fan/duvet fortress of coolness and is now content.

My son just told me he was COLD! I knew I made a freak.

I’ve just had breakfast/brunch with dparents. Dad moaned the whole time how hot it was and how he can’t cope in the heat.

He’s also all over the U.K. news (were in jersey) and has noted that it’s going to be 44 degrees apparently today in central London. He can’t deal with that kind of heat apparently. It’s too hot. What ever is he going to do.

Dm shot me a look which said “shut up shut up shut up!” When I pointed out that he’s lucky we live where we do and not in central London.

We have thunder here at present. And lovely lovely cooling wet rain. 😀
