I mean surely their Innovation department have thought of it, right? WHAT'S GOING ON??
I have tried making my own but while I got close with the flavour the consistency needed some work. I'm willing to put the time into this. But really, WHY CAN'T I BUY IT AT THE SUPERMARKET FERRERO? WHY???

Nutella haters need not comment.

You could always plan a visit to Italy as many of the tourist places sell it.

IStillMissBlockbuster · 24/07/2019 17:36

Yes, that's true, i've seen it in Spain too.

Have you tried Magnum Hazelnut Praline? Oppo’s hazelnut chocolate ice cream tub is also amazing! www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/ice-cream-tubs-44/oppo-healthy-ice-cream--colombian-chocolate---hazelnut-500ml I’ve also seen that Waitrose do their own hazelnut and chocolate ice cream but haven’t yet tried it.

The new kinder bueno ice creams are really yummy, and have a Nutella taste to them.

SilentSister · 24/07/2019 18:38

My DD is lactose intolerant, we get her Alpro Hazelnut and Chocolate Ice Cream which is pretty close to a Nutella taste.. It is not as creamy of course, but for her is perfect. But, I agree, having just come back from Italy and eaten vast amounts of ice cream, including Nocciola, wouldn't it be lovely if we could get it here Grin.

gingercat02 · 24/07/2019 18:39

Our local Italian ice parlour sell nutella ice cream OP 🤢🤮

FlibbertyGiblets · 24/07/2019 18:41

We make nutella nice cream with whizzed up nanas and a good dollop of nutella. Take out freezer about 10 mins before you want to serve.

NB: No actual Nana harmed in the making of this pudding.

IStillMissBlockbuster · 24/07/2019 18:42

Vom face? Off with your head!
I usually avoid 'healthy' ice cream, i mean if you're doing it you might as well do it properly, right?!
I haven'e seen a kinder bueno ice cream. I'd eat that. Yup.

Banana? Nope. Wrong.

I wonder how pure Nutella freezes.

Mix some nutella in with some vanilla (or better still, put the ice cream in the nutella jar).

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 24/07/2019 18:45

I'm sure I've seen it here in Scotland in Italian ice cream places

ShimmeringIce · 24/07/2019 18:45

There are far more exciting Carte D’Or flavours abroad (including Nutella) than here. I don’t know why. It’s not fair Sad

isabellerossignol · 24/07/2019 18:47

I've seen it in local ice cream places, but now that you mention it I've never seen it for sale in the supermarket.

isabellerossignol · 24/07/2019 18:55

There's a shop I know that sells both Ferrero Rocher and Kinder ice cream. They are glorious, and both have a chocolate hazelnut element. I want some now...

IStillMissBlockbuster · 24/07/2019 19:12

Intriguing, that website is not allowed in the UK.

I am actually a world authority on all food. Nutella is gagsville and the only 2 chocolates i dislike are Ferrero rocher and galaxy.

But thanks for reminding me I have strawberry ice cream in the freezer.

IStillMissBlockbuster · 24/07/2019 19:38

Wow thighs, fighting talk. I'm willing to defend nutella to the death/end of the jar.
