perforated ear drum...help!

So I perforated my eardrum on Sunday, it's slowly getting better but I've attempted to go into work twice and had to leave due to nausea and dizziness...anyone ever had one of these and how long will these symptoms last?! The eardrum is very bruised and it's so painful but the pain is slowly getting better. I just can't walk very far without wobbling/wanting to vomit.

I'm also the kind of person who feels sick just looking at a spinning ride so this isn't ideal

You poor thing it's horrible and until you've had it it's hard to understand how all consuming it is when it hits you ☹️

I've had vertigo quite badly as a result of the same thing and my GP has prescribed an anti nausea medicine for those occasions - might worth asking?

It turned out I was allergic to the anti nausea medicine but thats another story and apparently is rare, most people are fine on it!
