In what way are you lazy?

Just reading the uncomfortable realisations thread and so many people have said they are lazy.
If you think you are lazy, in what way? Because I think most people are not lazy and just expect too much of themselves.

I spend most of my free time on the sofa.
I don't bother exercising (but have an active job).
I prioritise relaxation over everything else.
I hate getting emails/messages from people because I can't be arsed to respond.
I clean and tidy the house as little as possible for it to still be hygienic and not look atrocious.
If I'm invited out somewhere, I can rarely be bothered to go.
I put off life admin like booking appointments, calling companies to complain about bills, etc because I'd rather be watching something on Netflix.
I'm happy to spent the whole weekend in my PJs!
I love spending time in bed and would rather do that than go for a walk, for example.
I can only be bothered with hobbies that I can do from home.
I order takeaways more often than I should because I can't be bothered to cook.

I could go on... Grin

Funnily enough, people who know me think of me as extremely put together. I make an effort with my appearance, am hardworking (although I wouldn't work if I had the choice!), make sure my house is immaculate if people come over, etc.

Catsmize are you me? Grin (apart from the last bit, people don't think I'm put together!)

CatSmize · 24/07/2019 12:09

Haha, coffeeturner Yes, I'm always surprised when I'm told that as I think 'if only you knew the truth' Grin

Anyway, it's great to hear I'm not alone in my idleness!

I am lazy at work. I always get everything done, and to a good standard, but I don't push myself.

One of the main reasons I am so unsure about having kids is because I am lazy. The thought of years of nappies, school runs, packed lunches etc make me feel exhausted.

I have been very lazy today, it is just too hot.

Housework. I do the bare minimum I can get away with to keep my house reasonably clean and tidy but I'm not thorough enough, I start jobs and get bored!

I get my dd’s to brush my hair. They love it and I get to close my eyes for two minutes Smile
