Has anyone ever tried it? And if so, did it work for you?

I find my life stressful, which then makes me extremely anxious, my anxiety seems to come out physically in me, when things are tough, instead of dealing with them, I let them eat away inside of me. And it brings with it some horrible side effects.

I’ve tried telephone CBT, I’ve been to my GP (apparently I’m not “bad enough for medicinal treatment”) so thought I’d go down the self help route.

Is meditation worth a try?

I find mindfulness and meditation helpful. Not a cure, but helpful.

Not everyone does, but I would say it was worth a try.

If you like apps and don't mind paying i know several people who use Headspace and think it's great.

Try it! I find it helps control my anxiety enough that I take propranolol a bit less and at a lower dose.

I use binaural tracks on youtube but I think there are apps available as well.
