Weird dreams and night terrors

On a few occasions recently I've had really bad or scary dreams that have woken me up with a terrible feeling of panic and anxiety in my chest. Not painful as such but a breathless feeling that makes it hard to go back to sleep for a while. And then in the morning I've experienced mild chest pain - possibly as a result of being tense in the night?

I've obviously had nightmares before but never experienced physical symptoms such as these. Does it sound like night terrors?

Yes, it could be night terrors. If I experience this I wake up soaked with sweat. And yes, the feeling of sadness or anxiety can last for most of the morning. I usually only experience night terrors if I'm going through stress in waking life though.

Yeah I am pretty stressed at the minute. Feel really rotten this morning and my chest hurts in the heart region. I dreamt my dp was driving me really scarily fast in a car down a busy road and I thought we were going to crash. So odd.

Last week I had a weird dream that I am lost in a very beautiful city. It's stunning, magical and I have no idea where I am, I have lost my phone, separated from my family. I ask someone where I am - people say its Toulouse.
Hmmm... is it a hint to go there on holiday? Grin
