Which Huawei phone?

Looking at switching from an iPhone. I have had enough of it.
No idea which Huawei I want but most seem good prices. Could you recommend one? Is there a reason that a few seem to be the price of iPhones and the others are only £120-180?

I can't tell you about the cheaper ones but the mate 20 pro is high end and it's got an amazing camera, screen and battery life.

Is there any reason you'd like Huawei in particular? Just usually I look at phones within a price range then choose between brands/models. I was weighing up the Samsung S10 or the mate 20 pro or P30 proand went for the mate 20 pro simply because there was a price crash!

The cheaper Huawei will have lower specs - less processing speed, poorer screen quality, poorer camera. Doesn't mean they're crap, it just depends on what your priorities are with a phone.

Maybe select a few to compare on Carphone Warehouse? That's usually a good starting place for me.

I've got a mate 20 lite. It's been as good as my Samsung ever was. Great battery life, fast processor, fingerprint and face recognition tech. The only feature I don't like is having no separate home button, but I think that's the case now even for Samsung and iPhone.
My other reservation would be what happens when Google is no longer supported. It will render a new phone essentially unusable.

By all means use Carphone Warehouse for information but be aware that they only guarantee phones for one year. My son's iPhone had a battery failure 18 months in - totally not his fault but despite being in a two year contract Carphone Warehouse wouldn't pay the cost of replacing the battery.

Not what you're asking but I'm not sure I'd be buying one at the minute. The US have put trade sanctions on huawei so google is withdrawing their Android license. Plus the UK government is deciding whether to allow them on the 5G network or not.

I've got an older model I love that is probably due an upgrade. I'd like to get another huawei but hoping the phone holds out so I can wait til its clear what's happening.
