Swimming after ear piercing?

Is it ok for dd to swim in the sea/pools after ear piercing? Thanks!

Not for 6 weeks IIRC.

Not immediately I wouldn’t have thought, but fine after a couple of days. I had a conch piercing and the sea water was fine on it.
