Anyone suffer SAD?

I do and I'm already dreading autumn/winter. The evenings are slightly darker earlier already and it's literally making me queasy. Anyone any tips?

I'm your total opposite I think, I'm suffering now and can't bloody wait for the winter.

However my dad has similar problems. Have you tried SAD lights before? He also found that those and a high vitamin D supplement helped him.

It might also be worth looking into anxiety medication if this is troubling you so much ahead of time? (Personally I found they didn't help me but I've had friends who've sworn on them.)

Yes, do you have a sad light? I find that massively helps me. I also have a daylight alarm. I live up north not on the mainland and it gets dark very early in winter and I just find it soul crushing.

No, but I can sympathise, I worked with somebody who had a lamp on her desk in the winter and she used to tell me how SAD had affected her.

It's the heat that's bothering me at the moment, we're pretty landlocked here and a long way from the coast, and I'd cope better with a sea breeze.

I like autumn - it's my favourite time of year.

Thanks. I'll try a sad lamp. And the supplements

Vitamin D supplements have been a game changer for me. I love autumn and winter now.

I thought I did, and a light lamp and Vit D helped, but I've been feeling very low and anxious for about a week. I don't understand.
