What a terrible decision. Our country will be a laughing stock. Bring on a general election.

I feel so depressed and helpless about it all.

Crunchymum · 23/07/2019 12:20

Fucking Hell. I said the day after the Brexit result, I'd leave the country if BJ became PM.

Now where shall I move to? Grin

Happysummer2020 · 23/07/2019 12:22

Awful.hope he goes down in flames.

SunburstsOrMarbleHalls · 23/07/2019 12:26

We all expected it but it still feels a bit surreal.

Boris Johnson UK PM
Donald Trump POTUS

When you consider some of the other unpredictable leaders of countries like Putin, Asaad, Kim Jong-Un and current tensions in places like Iran coupled with a potential no deal Brexit it feels like we are headed towards a perfect storm of chaos.

I'm probably dramatically catastrophising I should never have watched the BBC show Years and Years

Cinammoncake · 23/07/2019 12:29

We got our own Trump. Well done the Tories

GroggyLegs · 23/07/2019 12:33

What a day to be alive.
We are represented to the world by a man who looks like a sack of cold porridge tied in the middle with string, a liar, a clown.

And worst of all, I've no idea who I'd want to replace him.

MockerstheFeManist · 23/07/2019 13:02

Not until Tomorrow.

May still PM until she goes to see the Queen. BJ not PM until he goes in after her.

2010Aussie · 23/07/2019 18:30

So ashamed of this country. How we can choose a dishonest, self-serving philanderer as Prime Minister is beyond me.

Utter embarrassment.

Kalim8 · 23/07/2019 19:07

It's as if we looked across the pond and said "oooh, I wish we had one of those".
Must have been BOGOF.

Utter clown. The IT type.

Snowy111 · 23/07/2019 19:11

Most people in my office today were thoroughly depressed about it - who on earth voted for him ConfusedSad

And is he really as popular in the country as the tories think he is? I really don’t understand people any more Hmm

Bourbonbiccy · 23/07/2019 19:25

And worst of all, I've no idea who I'd want to replace him.

This is exactly the problem, who do we then vote for at the GE?

Snowy111 · 23/07/2019 19:27

I’ll probably vote Lib Dem to stop Brexit. If Brexit has already happened I wouldnt have a clue!

RodGallowglass · 23/07/2019 19:36

The really interesting question is: "How long can he last?"

I'll give him until 31st October but after that .......
