I’m getting a new kitchen and need help!

I have very traditional taste and am going for traditional cream units and dark wood tops. I thought to accessorise with copper perhaps 🤔

I am having a rangemaster and was thrilled to see I can get a cream one with brass trim instead of the ubiquitous stainless steel but I just cannot find a kettle and toaster that don’t have stainless steel on them in cream or copper, any ideas?

Is any stainless steel too much?

Get a 3 in 1 boiling water tap in copper - that way you won't need a kettle...

I looked for ageeeees for copper. Ended up finding them in wilko of all places. A lovely copper colour too not a cheap rose gold copper. And cheap. Win win

This is not at all helpful in relation to the actual question, but... have you ordered the Rangemaster yet?

We put in our dream kitchen, at fairly significant budget, a couple of years ago, and the Rangemaster is the only thing I regret. It's terrible.

The induction top is vastly underpowered. The main oven takes forever to heat up, and seems to heat to whatever temperature it likes; the small oven barely works, the warming drawer doesn't warm, etc.

Now, if you've already bought it, then we'll just say that I was unlucky and got a Friday afternoon model Grin, but if you haven't, I would suggest maybe looking at other options!

Oh and yes yes yes to a boiling water tap rather than a kettle!

I think copper is contemporary rather than traditional. Just my opinion though

You must be unlucky luckingfovely. I have Rangemaster duel fuel and I adore it. I hate induction jobs and would never have one. Gas all the way here.

Luckingfovely · 23/07/2019 14:59

I wish we could get gas but can't here! I'm jealous of your dual fuel Smile

Copper will date very very quickly
