What caused these bites?

Does anyone have any idea what caused these bites? DS went away with school last week (came back Wednesday) and lots of children came back covered in bites but he didn’t. These have appeared today but we don’t know where from. He is going away for a couple of days with a relative tomorrow and I don’t want them to get any worse. TIA

Bed bugs?

We had the mattresses cleaned at the same time as the carpets last month so it shouldn’t be. They are done every 6 months and the dog is always up to date with his treatment. We did go for a walk round a national park yesterday but the other DC and me and DH are fine Confused

I dint think they look like bedbug bites, but I'd be checking his bed just in case, seeing as they've come up since he cane home. It is possible he's had a delayed reaction to something biting him though.

They are itching more today and we have counted 8. He thinks it may have happened when he was climbing a tree on Sunday!

Mosquitoes. I got similar from gardening. There was a pond nearby.
