I grew up in a tropical country and generally feel healthier and happier when it’s warm - I love being able to step out in just a dress and sandals and sunshine lifts my mood. BUT, having lived in the U.K. for quite a long time, I have decided that anything above “normal” UK summer weather is not great. It’s not just that building and public transport are not designed for it, but also the fact that it seems to send a lot of people a bit mad - I know I am exaggerating about the “mad” part, but I was just walking home through my local park at just before 10 pm and it was full of people drinking and being really rowdy. There were also some drunk people walking up my street and being really noisy - this is all pretty unusual for a Monday night.
I know someone will come along in a minute and say that people are just “enjoying the nice weather” but I wish they could do so without so much alcohol and anti social behaviour being involved.
