Identify this bite , what bug ?

A small itchy lump appeard the 3 days ago and it's got worse , all around the area is rock hard and it's like a big lump in my leg , it feels like a bruise

Might be a horse fly bite? They can be pretty nasty, I think taking an anti histamine can help. Sympathies.

I had something similar and it was a cleg bite. Took some piriton and a hydrocortisone cream and that got rid of the itch and swelling, took 5 days though!

Thirsting horsefly/cleg bite. They are horrible. Watch for any signs of infection, and put hydrocortisone cream on to help the itch.
