Interview for civil service

Help! I have managed to secure an interview for a civil service job that I really want! I currently do the same job but in the private sector. I had to answer the competency questions to be invited to interview. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance

Hard to advise without knowing what role it is /department etc. I have worked in the civil service several times. For interview I suggest you dress fairly smartly and prepare as much as you can for the types of work based questions you might be asked. For general stuff 'where do you see yourself in 5 years', 'why are you best suited for this job' only you know the answer
