York rest recc

I have some upmarket relatives coming up and we are going to York for the night...can anyone recc anywhere lovely to have a meal? I think they are paying 😆

Go to the Grand Hotel, they have two that we enjoy. The Rise which is lovely or Hudson's which does a taster menu. Very expensive but amazing food.

The Star Inn the City, in Museum Gardens - we had a lovely lunch there after DD's graduation last week. They have a big outside terrace and inside is nice too.
