Really not feeling great tonight

I have anxiety and emetophobia (fear of being sick) so I'm really anxious rn.

I've got a funny stomach (TMI) but no V or D so far (thank god!), feel nauseas and super tired but unable to sleep from anxiety (and weirdly hungry too?).

I have to be up to take the dog to the vets at 7 in the morning so I'm praying I feel so much better by then, I'm absolutely exhausted!

Anyone else in a similar boat?

I’ve just got my standard insomnia but o thought I’d stop by and say hello. I had a bad tummy last week and mumsnet helped me get through the night.
Hope you get rest soon Flowers

@allhalekale I'm sorry you're up too! (And that you didn't feel well last weekThanks) that's exactly why I've come on here as I know many people are up at night, it's comforting to know I'm not alone.

Thank you, me too! I think it's just a massive load of anxiety tbh plus I've been feeling really tired lately.

I hope you drift off quickly and sleep well :)

Would a piece of toast help settle your nausea? I often feel sick if I'm actually really hungry but the brain signals seem to get mixed up....

@MotherForkinShirtBalls That's actually a really good idea, now the anxiety has subsided I'm just overwhelmingly hungry, thanks! Smile

Glad I could help Smile hope you get some sleep

freshsheets hope a snack helps you feel better and get to sleep. I've been awake since 1am, have a stomach ache (insides messed up from surgery and chemo) so I spent an hour or so downstairs doing a jigsaw puzzle, with a cup of tea and a Marmite biscuit. Then just as I was about to go back to bed, DP appeared having been awake a while, in search of a bowl of cereal!

@Bloodybridget It's was the night of everyone being hungry it seems Grin
I'm sorry you didn't feel well either, really hope you managed to settle your stomach and get to sleep. Thanks

I've had about 3hrs, DP is taking dog to the vets as I need more sleep. Feel awful about it.

@freshsheets, that's great that your DP was able to do the vet run. Don't feel bad about it, if it involved driving it might not have been safe you anyway [imagining dog looking nervous]. Hope you get a few more hours and have a good day.
