What's the done thing? Divorce

After a divorce, is it normal to change your name back to your maiden name, or not?

My kids have my maiden name but my husband (not their dad) wanted me to have his name.
I actually really like my married name and have built a professional reputation on it. I can’t be doing with the faff of changing it back, and I don’t feel like Miss Maidenname anymore. I’ve come a long way since then.

I always think of Alice in Wonderland: “I can’t go back to yesterday, I was a different person then.”

I make an exception for school stuff.

I know a few people who chose new names. I certainly would. Always moving forward and all that

What like - just choose a name you like Bianca. Sounds like a great idea!
