Vacuum cleaners confuse me

Any ideas please wise Mnetters? I need to buy a new vac, budget is a bit tight. Him Indoors likes upright cleaners, I like something easy to use on stairs, so preferred a cylinder, and I like to be able to get up in ceiling corners easily. I was wondering about stick cleaners... totally confused. Grin

I am a cleaner. I have always had dysons. But when I had two blow up on me within a few days I wanted to try something different. I knew people raves about sharks and was very dubious.

But. I got one. I am a convert. I can take off the main park and do all the stairs in my houses that I clean without breaking my back.

The hose that reaches up high come out very easy and goes back in very easy.

I can empty all the hoses and filters much easier.
It is also very light. Loved it so much I bought one for my house as well.

We have a cordless Henry. He's brilliant. He's very light and manoeuvrable, the batteries last really well and the hose is long enough to manage our ridiculous stairs. His cheery little smile brightens the house up, too
