MN "Have You Ever"?

Have you ever....

Read an OP and thought "I totally agree/disagree with this" and then read that every single poster takes a stance that's opposing to what you were thinking, so you click away without posting?

Genuinely written something, and then thought about it afterwards and thought "well, that was bollocks of me"

Posted knowing you are just echoing what PPs have written?

Written something you don't genuinely believe, but know it's what MN would approve of?

Any other 'have you evers?"?

OOO... I've thought of another one:

Have you ever:

Read an OP, thought "well, that's def a troll" and so added it to your 'watch' list so you get the deletion message and it wasn't a troll?

Read what someone has posted and it’s changed your point of view?

No, because I find that irritating. I'm not saying I haven't just echoed someone, but not knowingly.

Definitely.

Yes. Sometimes the responses are just so very opposite to the MN I once knew and loved and I think “oh I cannot be arsed with the attack” so don’t post my opinion.

Yes. Sometimes I’ve deleted without posting. Sometimes I’ve posted then apologised and had it removed.

Posted knowing you are just echoing what PPs have written?

Yep.

Written something you don't genuinely believe, but know it's what MN would approve of?

Nope. Joy of MN is you’re anonymous and can log off so you can post your genuine opinion even if it won’t be liked.

Yes. Definitely. But I’m not always convinced they aren’t trolls.

I say what I think, regardless of the herd.
