@BarryMcguigan
I am no expert it was a few years ago now - but am sure if you post on here you will get similar advice.

I went back to work after six months off after my two children .
Each experience is different but both times I managed to just feed morning and night on workday (4) and then feed on demand at the weekends .
I didn’t pump at all. ( and only had discomfort a bit during the transition )
I really wasn’t sure whether it would work but I wanted to try as stopping feeding felt like an extra wrench on top of the time away.
I fed both until over a year so if it matters to you to try it’s worth researching and trying ..
good luck

@StinkinDrink thank you so much for the original post.. it’s been really good reading all the responsesSmile i’m due to start work in september and DS will be 9 months old.. i’m so not looking forward to it as i’ll probably miss him more than he’ll miss me☹️..
re all the breastfeeding post, they’re all really helpful as i’ve been worried about how DS will cope as i also breastfeed on demand and i don’t express.. stopped expressing when he was 2 months old as it was such a chore for me...
tbh, i really just need to win the lottery so i can become a full time house wife😂

Ah I'm so pleased others are getting something out of this thread, I couldn't find a recent one similar! I'm not breastfeeding which makes things a little easier i suppose but I'm loving that others are getting some great advice. Argh tomorrow is the day! I did just comment to DH I will be pleased to be able to go to a toilet where when I sit down it won't be in a pool of wee (thanks 'D'SS!) 😡!
