Help! Period due on wedding day + honeymoon

I’m already on the Progesterone only pill, I can’t take the combined one because of migraines.

I haven’t been on this pill for very long (I bled for 3 months on the last one) and so far my cycles have been 6 weeks long and I just realised that I’m due to start on the day of my wedding and then be bleeding for my week long honeymoon 😫

Does anyone know if it’s possible to put off a period whilst on the progesterone pill? I know there are tablets that can put it off but have no idea if I can take them with this pill.

I got pregnant 2 weeks before my wedding and avoided this issue! Not an ideal solution for everyone!

You'll have to ask your GP if there's anything you can do, I think (though somebody other than me will probably be more useful!).

Haha @NoWordForFluffy this has crossed my mind.

It’s so frustrating. I was on the combined pill for years, I loved the ability to run packs and completely choose when my period came.

It's taken almost a year for me on the mini pill to have barely any bleeding. But it's still random and liable to strike randomly.

I'd go to your GP or nurse practitioner and see what they say.
