I remember watching Game On years ago and we were having a clear out the other day and I found the DVD of it so I’ve been watching it. Love it all over again Grin

It's not on at the moment, but I've been enjoying 'Speechless' on Catch up - it's an American sitcom about a family whose oldest child has cerebral palsy, uses a wheelchair and augmented communication system. It was one of those they put on every day over a few weeks. Channel 4 I think.

Friday Night Dinner, I hadn't heard of it when it was originally out but watched them all recently and found them hilarious.

Also Arrested Development (except the last season which was pants)

An Fab for a totally silly comfort watch

IndianaMoleWoman · 20/07/2019 23:26

The Paramount channel recently started re-showing the American version of The Office, which is hilarious but I’m so shocked that the it was made this century but the technology seems so old fashioned.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 20/07/2019 23:29

I watched Drop The Dead Donkey last year and it was still very funny (and I still fancied Dave). Rather depressingly the news hasn’t changed much since then, still wars and unrest just different countries, still politicians do stupid/immoral/illegal things just different names.

George and Mildred and Are You Being Served. Both on Gold. So funny and so non PC.

AnalUnicorn · 20/07/2019 23:31

I have just re-watched “Toast of London” and laughed like a drain. This is on 4OD. I also love the “Year of the Rabbit”. I may have a thing for Matt Berry

Signifyingnothing · 20/07/2019 23:32

Mum. It's beautifully written.

Verily1 · 20/07/2019 23:54

I like the American Mom but don’t know where to watch it!

HereWeStand · 20/07/2019 23:55

Benidorm Grin

It’s all on Netflix

Babdoc · 20/07/2019 23:57

I’ve been enjoying a box set of Surgical Spirit. It’s a nostalgia fest for me, (retired anaesthetist!) as it’s a sitcom in an operating theatre with a very feisty female consultant surgeon, her hapless male colleagues and her anaesthetist. Nicola McAuliffe is priceless as the surgeon, with a great line in rapid sarcasm and witty put downs. It takes me back to the days when medicine was still fun, and bureaucracy hadn’t quite taken over!

What we do in the shadows

drigon · 21/07/2019 00:02

Arrested Development, haven't bothered with series 4 and 5, but the first three are genius! Available on Netflix.

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 21/07/2019 00:07

Yes Elephant!

"We drank the blood of some people, but the people were on drugs and now I'm a wizard!" Grin

Also Matt Berry for the Matt Berry pp fan. Bat!

We have just discovered Game Face on four (catch up).

It’s so brilliantly observed, really touching and true, she is a bit of an unsung hero imho.

igotdemons · 21/07/2019 00:22

I’ve been rewatching Benidorm on Netflix 😂
