Can anyone recommend me a roomba type bot?
Looking at them at the moment but there are loads to pick from!

Depends what you want and your budget. We have a Rudy 15c, it's definitely at the lower end of the scale but I can't fault it. We set it to go at 3am every day and empty it in the evening. It doesn't need emptying every day though we do.

It doesn't map rooms, just goes haphazard so doesn't do always do all the room and doesn't always make it as far as the kitchen but that doesn't bother me.

I'd recommend it for what we paid (it's currently £208 on Amazon but we got it for £116).

Eufy not Rudy!

For that budget I'd recommend the eufy.

You have to clear the floor before setting it off, it gets things like charger cables, hair bobbles etc wrapped around the brushes. We put the baby bouncer up on to the sofa as it sometimes gets stuff under it.

I like it because it gets under the sofa and I no longer have to pull them out.

Once a week we completely clear the floor- dining chairs up, nest of tables up etc and it does a great job.

It handles the transition from floor boards to rug well and manages the weird curved lip we have on to the shitty laminate in the kitchen after a few tries.

Stuck under the baby bouncer, not stuff

I have a Eufy. It works well enough. Not as good as the roomba I used to have years ago, but not anywhere near the price tag either.

I tend to shut it into one room at a time, as it is haphazard rather than mapping, and do a different room each day.
