Harry potter world tips?

I am going with a friend this weekend. Wonder particularly about temperature and whether I need a jumper or light coat?
Any other tips much appreciated. No plans to eat there as I don't want to get ripped off!

No major rips apart from take your time, and take it all in, there’s some really amazing stuff to see there!
We did eat there (wasn’t organised enough to take food!) and didn’t find it too bad considering, think a kids lunchbox meal was about £5 and sandwiches were about the same (I know that sounds ridiculous but I think to be expected at that kind of attraction).

The majority of things to see are inside so don’t dress too warmly but some of it is outside (Privet Drive, Knight bus, chess pieces etc) so just be prepared in case it’s raining.
Hope that helps! Writing that out has made me want to go again Smile have a great time Grin

Pooh!

Ask the staff questions, they'll point out things you may miss.

Ask for the stamp passport if they don't give you one.

Don't bother with the guided tour headphone things - there is quite enough information to digest without this too. Take your time going around; it's easy to miss things because there is just so much there.

The butter beer is grim Envy

Definitely ask the staff questions, they have so much knowledge.

Leave some time for the shop too.

If you’re scared of spiders be wary of the forbidden forest section, the spiders move!

Otherwise take your time, there’s a lot to see and part of the fun is searching out the hidden details you never noticed in the films

Do you mean the Warner Brothers studio tour or Harry Potter World in Florida

underneaththeash · 19/07/2019 22:31

I’d just have the butter beer ice cream. We’ve never eaten there - although we live 20 minutes away. It’s not cold inside.

PhannyMcNee · 19/07/2019 22:33

We ate there and although it wasn’t cheap, it wasn’t as big a rip off as we expected!

Don’t have the butter beer though Wink

Please talk to ALL the interactors - the ones in the black trousers/blue coats/blue & white shirts. SmileSmileSmile

They will love to talk to you and show you extra things you might not notice as you go round SmileSmileSmile

It will take quite a long time to go round but take your time - hopefully you have got an early time slot SmileSmileSmile

If you or the ones you are going with have costume then wear it SmileSmileSmile

BEFORE YOU GO - Charge your camera and phone and have your video setting ready for Gringotts WinkSmileSmileSmile

Thanks everyone! Just going with a friend, no kids! Will have plenty of time to take it all in.
