What are you doing tonight?

Got 3yo to bed nice and early tonight so I could have the evening to myself.
Im having a nice, hot bubble bath at the moment after getting absolutely drenched earlier.
I've then got to do some tidying (new beds delivered tomorrow Grin)
Before I flip onto my mattress (no bed frame, see ^^) and get a nice early night.

Have any of you got nights more interesting than mine?

@WonkyDonk87 I know it feels like the feeds go on forever but 😍 I miss that time so much.
My DD spends most of her waking hours chewing my ears off now.

Ah! The grass is always greener eh? I can't wait to know what's going on in her mind. Grin

Sorting stuff for DD1s Birthday she’s 15 tomorrow. So 15 years ago today I started a thread on MN asking if I had wet myself to be told no it’s your waters you loon get yourself to hospital, to be told, it’s your waters but your a first time mother your not in labour your a loon go home, to be having contractions to be told take a bath and two paracetamol (WTF), to go back into hospital to be screaming the place down told your dramatic, your 1cm calm down dear. Less than 1 hour later your pushing a baby out on just gas and air as it’s too late for anything else as no one believed you were dilating that fast. They did apologise. I did get a beautiful DD.

DP has gone to visit a friend in Brighton for the weekend so I’ve the house to myself (no dcs) so this evening has consisted of watching crap YouTube videos on the tv and, after an email from deliveroo telling me they now deliver to my postcode (yaaay), I’ve gorged myself of wagamamas.

wineandcatsandlego · 20/07/2019 00:02

Me and DH went to our favourite restaurant as I'm 11 days overdue with my first baby and due in tomorrow for induction, so had a v last minute adult evening! Then home to do last min hooverings and fettling and settee pillow plumping ready for visitors for once little man's here as I will be too on edge to do it in the morning!

I’m packing for going to visit DD/SIL and DGC in Australia. I haven’t slept in 4 nights with excitement at seeing them all.

Bimblepops · 20/07/2019 00:24

I’m delaying going to bed, by watching yet another Gilmore Girls episode...

...and promising myself that I won’t drink any more red wine

It’s been a rainy day filled with grumpy children, but good news re serious parental illnesses, so on the whole I am very happy and relieved.

freshasthebrightbluesky · 20/07/2019 01:15

Kids went to caravan earlier for the whole weekend. We had a cheeky Nando's, came home, put the tv on and did nothing. Oh what an exciting life I lead...

@wineandcatsandlego

Good luck today! Hope it all goes smoothly and you're soon home with your gorgeous baby.

ignatiusjreilly · 20/07/2019 15:18

@Sabich How is your OH? Hope he's ok.

ignatiusjreilly · 20/07/2019 15:33

@Candyfloff Well, my teeth feel fine this morning so that's a good start. I was really worried about sensitivity as I've heard it can get really bad.

I'll let you know in a few weeks how it turns out!

Sabich · 20/07/2019 16:12

@ignatiusjreilly yes thank you, it turned out to be superficial but I couldn't leave it to chance as it seemed like a lot of blood and he was disorientated.

Is it a course of strips? Good luck with it!

ignatiusjreilly · 20/07/2019 21:50

Glad he's ok. Hope your evening is a lot more relaxing tonight!

It's the type of whitening with trays and gels. Really hoping it will make a difference!

Lazed around the caravan till we were sure the rain was over for the day, then down to York to see if there was anything we fancied in the fringe .

Saw Paul Sinha last night and he was excellent and groupie that I am, I had my photo taken with him. Lovely man.

Anyway got there and guess what it was meal time..so had a mooch around Fossgate and then carried on to another of our faves 1331 where we New we could get decent gluten and dairy free food.

We were going to go to one of the bars to listen to some music, york has a great music scene, but were srptuffed and on our way to the car , caught one of the last buskers out.

Lovely man called Isaac, we looked after his guitar and takings while he nipped to the loo
Bless him.

Great guy . Had a lovely chat and he finished off his set by playing peter starstedts where do you go to my lovely.
Lovely voice.

So all in all a canny little night.
