My husband ate a sweet he found in our daughter's car. He feels extremely disorientated and unwell now. It m ay not be linked at all, but we have suddenly thought could the sweet have actually been a drug? Totally shocked, praying it isn't. Does anyone recognise these? Thanks so much.

Not too much water though! A pint per hour tops was what we always used to stick to thanks to a handy drug reference book my mum bought me Grin

Can you imagine being that daughter and getting that phone call?

Quick, your dad has eaten something he found in the car and he’s gone to sleep. Is it drugs?
What the fuck is he doing eating random shit?
That doesn’t matter, is it drugs?
No, it’s not drugs. It was just some weird artisan sweets.
You better not be lying to me.
No. Why is dad eating random stuff? Who does that?

jagack · 18/07/2019 22:35

This is the weirdest thing I've ever seen on here.

In what world does an adult ingest something unknown and then come to a public forum to query whether it's a drug as opposed to getting medical help?

ombre123 · 18/07/2019 22:35

I'm on the edge of my seat here OP. Honest to god this thread has made my night. Love how we went straight to "it's crack" lol

winewolfhowls · 18/07/2019 22:35

I'll tell you who does it that... Someone who ALREADY has the munchies!

Backhometothenorth · 18/07/2019 22:36

Hilarious!! Disappointing but it's got to be homemade stem ginger - maybe he's allergic Grin

PancakeAndKeith · 18/07/2019 22:37

And I love the amount of people who know what crack tastes like.
The Daily Mail (may someone piss in their tea) will lose their nuts over the idea that ‘mummies’ know what drugs taste like.

Chanandlersbong · 18/07/2019 22:38

Oh my goodness 😂 I needed this thread tonight! Shouldn't laugh but what kind of grown man puts random shit in his mouth that he just found in his daughter's car?! Especially when it looks like bits of manky old teeth. Some of these replies are genius. Anyone know yet if he's ok?!

miggeldysthepres · 18/07/2019 22:39

We need to know!

Rubytinsleslippers · 18/07/2019 22:39

Jeez...is the man in need of medical attention? Whatever he's had he is clearly unwell.

Boredbd · 18/07/2019 22:39

Omg we need an update 😂

melissasummerfield · 18/07/2019 22:40
Shock
LadyOfTheCanyon · 18/07/2019 22:40

"Footwell sweets" Grin

StudentHelp · 18/07/2019 22:40

Update please 😂

InsertFunnyUsername · 18/07/2019 22:42

Your daughter is Pablo Escabor, is the only explanation.

Patroclus · 18/07/2019 22:42

What sort of stuff will they find if hes like this and they pump his stomach out? shergar?

starfishcoffee · 18/07/2019 22:44

I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation (being it's not crack). Hope your DH soon recovers. Smile

Shannith · 18/07/2019 22:44

You have crack. You have a spoon.

Over to you...

ItsMilkAndEggsBitch · 18/07/2019 22:45

Please tell us

InsertFunnyUsername · 18/07/2019 22:45

And what have we learnt today DH? Not to eat random shit found in a car...

SlurplePurple · 18/07/2019 22:48

Please update op. Is he ok??

StickybeakSiameezie · 18/07/2019 22:49

What did your daughter say?

DickZillaofTheVilla · 18/07/2019 22:50

This has to be a windup surely. If not it’s possibly one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. Husband scarfs random sweets from daughters car which is strange enough but then feels funny so it MUST be drugs not some crystallized ginger or something. But on the off chance it IS drugs it’s not worth phoning to find out or going to hospital Hmm and where is OP gone?!

Walnutwhipster · 18/07/2019 22:50

Was the teaspoon in the car too?
