Please, please can anyone help-are these drugs? (photo)

My husband ate a sweet he found in our daughter's car. He feels extremely disorientated and unwell now. It m ay not be linked at all, but we have suddenly thought could the sweet have actually been a drug? Totally shocked, praying it isn't. Does anyone recognise these? Thanks so much.

After learning all about the dangers of drugs at school, I was scared to death when I found tin foil and spoons under my teenage brother’s bed. I went crying to our mum that he was a heroin addict.

Turns out he just left the contents of his lunchbox under there.

Now unless your daughter eats crystallised ginger - that don’t look like no sweets 👀 I’m just sayin

Fairly sure if it's aniseed flavoured it should be fine. But he may be having an allergic reaction?

I have always wondered why pharmaceutical companies make some (legal) pills sweet. Why is that?

I know making them bitter doesn't always dissuade young children from swallowing them (a friend's dc ate a Valium which is bitter) but it would stop some I'm sure.

What if the OP and her husband can’t get their daughter from the ferry port from her holiday to France because they are too high? Her and her friend will be waiting to get home.
Maybe someone from Mumsnet can do a good deed and get them for the OP?

Perhaps she hides it in a sweet box for this reason and its become infused with the flavour of the pretend sweets.

This is hilarious. Bless you OP. Agree that mdma and cocaine aren't things you can eat by accident, unless you were born completely without a sense of taste and smell.

It would be similar to someone worried they accidentally drank down a glass of pure vodka, thinking it was water, and didn't notice. Impossible.
