My husband ate a sweet he found in our daughter's car. He feels extremely disorientated and unwell now. It m ay not be linked at all, but we have suddenly thought could the sweet have actually been a drug? Totally shocked, praying it isn't. Does anyone recognise these? Thanks so much.

Dodgeball 🤣🤣🤣

PetrolBastard · 18/07/2019 22:03

It's either some dried up old food or £1k in crack. Which do you think your daughter is more likely to be able to get hold of?

LittleLongDog · 18/07/2019 22:03

The thing is: if it was ginger it would taste very much like ginger, not aniseed.

Is having odd tastebuds the symptom of anything?

Pannalash · 18/07/2019 22:03

Scoleah ‘wax melt’ that’s made me laugh out loud 😂

MrsBobDylan · 18/07/2019 22:03

Omfg...gallstones are massive!

Lolimax · 18/07/2019 22:04

Come back and tell us what your daughter said! I hope your DH is ok.

Peanutbuttericecream · 18/07/2019 22:04

Please come back OP 🙏

Rivkka · 18/07/2019 22:05

Is it a fat ball?

It's either ginger sweets (Holland and Barrett) or some sweet from abroad.

Hardly crack

Patroclus · 18/07/2019 22:06

It isnt that much, Petrol. Back in my days with a habit I'd have fired through that in a night, and I wasnt even that bad. Couple of hundred perhaps.

PoppingOneOutIn2020 · 18/07/2019 22:06

Place marking for the "my daughter was hiding drugs for a friend" or similar story.

HobbyIsCodeForDogging · 18/07/2019 22:06

@babysharkah that was me who said about pregnancy and being for morning sickness! I'm sticking with that scenario.

OP if your husband is still unwell though, you really must get him seen to Confused

GettickledGETTICKLEDbyspiders · 18/07/2019 22:07

@darlingtwinklebum . . . remember the dad on here that ate a fatball because he thought it was an artisan treat? - so he might not know

Sevo7 · 18/07/2019 22:07

@babasaclover imo it tastes like salty, bleachy, hairspray sometimes with a hint of fly spray! It depends what your drink was and how much was put in. I don’t think it’s used to spike unsuspecting peoples drinks though as a rule so I wouldn’t worry.

AllFourOfThem · 18/07/2019 22:08

Considering the size, I don’t believe he would eat a recreational drug and be convinced if just tasted on aniseed. Drugs aren’t like alcopos in the sense you can make them palatable!

I also don’t understand how anyone could look at that and think “yummy, looks like a sweet to me so I’m going to eat some” because it looks rank!

dustarr73 · 18/07/2019 22:09

@PancakeAndKeith GrinYou know I teach reception and spend a large amount of my day telling children to stop putting random shit in their mouths or stop licking their shoes. I often wondered what happens to those kids when they grow up.

Drogosnextwife · 18/07/2019 22:09

Looks like tablet to me, love a bit of tablet. Bit small right enough.
What did he say it tasted like?

WineIsMyCarb · 18/07/2019 22:09

This is fucking fatballs all over again! I'm sympathetic if this woman's idiotic DH is currently ODing on an enormous rock of crack, but seriously... did he see the DD making it, is he complaining that it's greasy?!

Xmasfairy86 · 18/07/2019 22:09

Where’d she go!? Please come back!

Elledouble · 18/07/2019 22:09

If it was drugs it would have tasted like drugs. Not sweets. Good grief.

PeaceandTranquility · 18/07/2019 22:10

Is your daughter the Mint and Humbug type or the shoot em up and sniff em up type?

Namechange8471 · 18/07/2019 22:10

Not gonna lie , I'm here for the comments Grin

WineIsMyCarb · 18/07/2019 22:10

Hats off @Rivkka you got there first! Wink (cross post!)
