Endometrial ablation advice

I'm going in on the 9th of August for a Endometrial ablation. I'm not sure what to expect. Periods are heavy but more soo painful sore boobs, swollen belly sore belly, sickness headaches. I hate that time of month. Some have said it helps with symptoms some say nothing changed. Advice please xx

I had one and started with the pill that runs through, cerazette.
Uncomfortable for a few days. I had a few bad periods over the next few years. But rarely have any. But my problems were down to too much flow.
