Help! Which razor handle is this?!

I've completely forgotten which brand this handle is and a trip to boots left me none the wiser... can anyone help me figure it out so I can defuzz for the weekend?! Grin

What seems to be unusual are the metal teeth bits at the end.

Looks like a Venus razor

Ratbagcatbag · 18/07/2019 17:59

Was going to say Venus too.

AwdBovril · 18/07/2019 17:59

Venus. I have the same one.

Looks like Gillette? Any of their blades should fit a Gillette handle so if you can get hold of one from somewhere you could see if it fits.

Gingernaut · 18/07/2019 18:03

Gillette Venus.

Misty9 · 18/07/2019 18:06

It doesn't look like any of the Venus ones in boots and it doesn't have Venus on the handle...? I found a head in the bin (!) And it's rectangular with a blue strip and a pink strip. The venus ones are all rounded I think?

Just tried my neighbours Venus. Definitely not that.

It's an old Gilette Venus razor. I think they might call it a classic.

I used to put Mach 3 heads on mine as they were cheaper.

dawnc27 · 18/07/2019 18:49

do you shop at asda or tescos? as i know i have had the same and im pretty sure its their versions of branded razors. im edging towards it being an old tesco pro shave (?) one

Misty9 · 18/07/2019 19:13

I do shop at asda sometimes but have checked their website. It's not that old! It's ironic that it's better made with a metal gripper than the branded ones though.

I think you're right and it's an asda own brand. It came with a sucker holder for the razor too. I'll.check asda tomorrow though it's tricky as you can't try the refill!

now youve mentioned the sucker holder i do think that youre right it is asda. i still have a scar from where the little bastard came unstuck from the wall up near the showerhead while i was relaxing in the bath.....
mines pink thought which may be what threw me a bit
