Can anyone advise. I am due to start a new job on Monday 2nd September. My current contract states I need to give "one month's notice" to terminate current employment. I'd like my current employment to run to just before the new job starts, so my last working day with them would be Friday 30th August.
When should I resign? Tuesday 30th July or Wednesday 31st July?
Also how are resignations usually done these days, I haven't done one for awhile. I work remotely from my management who are all in a different country. Phonecall followed by a confirmation email?
