Hi all, my daughter starts nursery in september, she'll be 2 and she's going to need a full uniform the only problem is she is still in 12-18 months clothes and all the school uniform i'm seeing in all the usual supermarkets starts at 2-3.

Ive bought a skirt and polo today in this size and it absolutely drowns her, the skirts down to her ankles. Does anywhere do smaller uniform?

Can you tell the nursery you can't find in her size and ask if they know a supplier or if the uniform is mandatory while she is so small. They must have had this problem before.

How strict are they. Would they accept say black leggings?

Uniform in a 2 yr old is ridiculous. Many are still in nappies and dont need the hassle of tights and skirts and scrunched up adjustable waist trousers Hmm

I had this problem when ds started nursery. He was 3 but in 18 month old clothes. Adams was still open back then and we shortened trousers etc but ultimatly uniform at 2 is ridiculous so the nursery is just going to have to accept her wearing non standar stuff.

Uniform isn’t compulsory at 2, just send her in normal leggings and a t shirt in School colours.
