Baby, naps and childminder - help needed!

My DS will start with a childminder 3 days a week at the start of September- he will be almost a year old.
Sleep has been a real odyssey, and its only the last 2 months or so that I have managed to get him in his cot in the day reliably. He now has 2 naps a day, morning lasts between 30 mins and an hr (I wake him after that) and lunch anything from 40 mins to 2 hrs.

I am now of course panicking about him.napping at the childminders. When he sleeps at home.he has a blackout blind and white noise. She said she could do a blacked out room.if needs be but she seemed surprised.

What do I do? Do I gradually try and wean him off the dark/ white noise? We have a snooze shade and he does sleep in his pram if its moving - I could try the pram indoors with the shade on? Will he just get used to it?

I'm trying to keep calm about the idea of going back but this has really panicked me!

He will adjust, don't panic. He'll probably have his morning nap out in the buggy and he'll just get used to background noise at the childminders.
Any comforters or white noise you can send with him will help.

Don’t worry, he will do all sorts at the childminders that he doesn’t do at home!

I was the same, but my baby would only sleep on me. Within 2 days he was sleeping in a pushchair at the same time as her other babies/toddlers no problem. He also eats anything she cooks despite living on fish fingers at home!

Oh I hope you are both right.

The white noise is via Alexa - I will prob need to buy a machine.
We do need a travel cot - maybe it would make sense to get one and get him used to napping in it so he could have that there?
