Dental work under sedation

so Finally did it, went to the dentist for the first time in 5yrs. Need 4 fillings, one particularly bad which may need root canal but they won’t know until they try. I haven’t been for 5 yrs as terrified of having work done and now I need loads doing! My dentist has referred me for sedation but as I was so flustered and worried about having the work done I didn’t ask about cost. I paid for today’s work under band 1. I’m definitely wanting it done under sedation for sure but am now worrying silly about the cost and how I’m going to pay for it. Has any one experienced similar who could give me a guide? X

I had sedation and had to go privately for it. It was about £125 if I remember rightly but it is bloody wonderful stuff.
