What job should I do?

I’m a qualified teacher but as I’m newly qualified I’d be on around £22k- add in long hours, heavy work load and stress and I’m in no hurry to return.
I have a lot of experience in Early Years and am a childminder at the moment as my youngest it 2 but I’d like to get back into work that isn’t caring for young children. I do love the freedom for each day to be different and time with my family.

I can’t justify spending money on retraining as I have a lot of student debt but am not afraid of a bit of hard work.
Ideally in 3-5 years I’d like to be on a career path and be earning more than £25k p.a.

I used to run my own business which was successful and I enjoyed because of the freedom but it was a unique market which doesn’t really exist anymore.

Wise mumsnetters, what shall I do with the rest of my life?

Hi OP
If you continue teaching then you would potentially meet your salary goals in that timeframe.
I think maybe you haven't had any replies because people haven't been sure what to advise based on the info that you've given.
What does your gut tell you? What do you want to do with the rest of your life?!
