Who gives a crap recycled toilet paper - normal or bamboo?

Cant decide which to go for

Bamboo abit more pricey more quality

According to reviews I've read the regular stuff is very thin and useless and the bamboo is much better.

The bamboo paper isn't recycled though as it's made from bamboo, in case that makes a difference to your purchase choices.

I am pleasantly surprised at how good the normal is. Got our first lot last week and all happy with it, and we used to have the more expensive type not recycled.

Normal is absolutely fine here, definitely not too thin.

I love the bamboo.

Lovely texture and lasts ages, because the rolls are much longer than normal loo rolls and the sheets are thicker so you don’t need so many.

Wouldn’t use anything else now. It is true that the bamboo is not recycled bur as I understand it, it is a fastgrowing crop rather than a slow growing tree.

I have bamboo but I’ve never tried the normal stuff.

I really wanted to like the normal one but didn’t Haven’t tried the bamboo yet as they don’t do testers any more I don’t want to have the whole family moaning again because I bought a million rolls of rubbish toilet paper!

We have had both kinds and binned them. Sadly. Neither are very soft scratchy in fact). Ditto the tissues.

The normal was a bit thin and disintegrating, and my kids consequently used too much each time and the toilet would block (and I had to unblock it ). Bamboo was much better but....it works out cheaper for us to buy Waitrose recycled, which is often on offer and is, according to package, made in UK from recycled paper, rather than shipped from Asia. So gave up WGAC, although it was very prettily wrapped!
