Best Instant Coffee - Home/France

Olive30 · 17/07/2019 06:44

Like most of the rest of the country apparently, I am now addicted to coffee. We are going on a self-catering holiday to France soon and French roast coffee is too bitter for my taste. What is the best instant coffee (no coffee machine) to take from the UK or to buy from France, in your opinion? Thanks in advance.

Nescafé Azera is extremely good.

I actually really like Nescafé gold blend.
Also the Nescafé Azera Americano

Same. I think it’s great and I no longer hanker after a pod machine for my morning coffee (yes I know real coffee aficionados will say pod machines are crap too Smile)

Three for Azera so I will try that first. We have a pod machine at home so am not a coffee aficionado by any means but it does slightly mar my day if I don't have a decent ish one. Know coffee in France is good but I have gone off French roast and used to live there so have it a fair go!

I live in France and always buy Nescafe Gold (but the powder version, rather than the granules) and find it absolutely delicious! You can buy it in pretty much any supermarket. Have a lovely holiday!

I like azera and lavazza pronstissimo.

In your shoes though I'd probably just take a cafetiere and some fresh coffee (taylors lazy Sunday and lidl Kenyan are my favourites, both quite sweet). I presume you will have access to a kettle?
