Commercial ovens? Are they quicker?

If I order chicken nuggets or pizza from a greasy spoon they arrive much quicker than I can cook at home. Are commercial ovens cooking faster? DH says they just cook bigger quantities it that doesn’t explain why my presumably frozen food is cooking so fast!

*But that doesn’t explain

chicken nuggets are usually pre-cooked and then deep fried.
pizza ovens are really hot, some newer ovens have a pizza setting that is really hot.

Deep fat fryers and pizza ovens? Does that explain it?

No one commercially is cooking frozen nuggets in an oven

I considered that but They don’t taste like they are fried though? I had a fish finger sandwich recently at a soft play and it was very obvious that they had been deep fried 🤮

That's probably due to the freshness of the oil.

I don't know, but I do know that commercial dishwashers are.

Fresh oil in the fryers that are at high temp before you've even ordered. A standard chicken nugget or goujon would take about 4-5 mins in a commercial fryer. It's unlikely they'll ever be done in an oven.

Commercial ovens are a lot faster in my experience (used to have a Saturday job in Debenhams cafe, bacon done in a couple of minutes!) but yes agree nuggets are probably fried anyway

Maybe, they're already cooked and just reheated?
