I can't be the only one who is convinced of something about a celebrity and it turns out they are completely wrong?

Today I learnt that Bill Nighy was never in the Rolling Stones. I have no idea why I was so convinced he was. I can only think I conflated him and Bill Wyman in my head. All these years whenever I've seen him in a film I've wondered if he regretted leaving the band at the start of their career...

Turns out John Rocha is not Native American and John Barrowman is not Canadian.
I also was completely convinced that Bobby Dazzler was a footballer who played for England, much to the delight of my colleagues.
