Advice for going back on the pill!

Around 6 years ago I made the worst decision of my life and went on the Depo injection. I had always been super slim, active, ate well and was healthy. Within 2 years of been on the depo I binged on junk, stopped going to the gym, became tired all of the time, ached all over and gained 6 stone and went up 4 dress sizes. I came off the injection 3 years ago. I have slowly managed to lose a stone with difficulty. I did not get a period until a year coming off it and now my periods and PMS are worse then ever.

I get menstrual headaches, moodiness, PMS so bad and such heavy periods that last sometimes over a week I just can't deal with it. However I feel so bad going back on birth control and I do not know why. Plus I am so worried if I go back on birth control it will make me gain a lot of weight again.

I really want to lead a more natural lifestyle and not put so many chemicals into my body but I feel at the moment the only way I will relieve my PMS and regulate my period a bit more is to go back on the pill :(

Just wondered if anyone else has gone from Depo to Pill and how you have found it. Or any advice on pill brands you have found to have not as many side affects.

Just any advice really to help me feel not so bad about this and less confused on what to do :(

What about the coil instead if you want to move away from the hormones?
