Has anyone got one? What are they like to ride? Up hill? Can you get it through your front door?!

Have a look at some of the cargo trikes on offer - that way you can still carry significant weights and bulky stuff by bike.
I moved 120kg kit by cargo trike recently - and I'm only 50kg myself. There are electric assist options too.

Babboe, Christiania and Bakfiets are all good makes.
