On April 1st (I kid you not!) I was kicked on the wrist by a horse. Lots of swelling etc, I went to hospital but was told it was just soft tissue damage. Healing took ages, with particular problems gripping and twisting. Mainly now it is functioning fine
BUT
I have a big, bony lump on my wrist, on the thumb side. It still hurts to flex it. I feel it when I pour a kettle of water and I still can't get in the bath normally as I can't put weight on it like that.

I'm a bit worried - I start a new job in September and it is very physical. Surely soft tissue would have healed by now!?!

I would go back. They can arrange for either more tests and/or physio if needed

Yeah, see the doc

Soft tissue damage can be worse than a broken bone. You need to go back to get it looked at again.
