Because I'm a mess. I cry when someone congratulates me on my pregnancy. Cried on the phone to the midwife this morning because I've been throwing up so much. It's just cry cry cry. Blush

Keep telling yourself it's the hormones which is good! 😉
I was a mess after the birth when hormones crashed and ravaged me .... my husband kept saying are you ok and I was just snivelling it's hormones honestly

All the time. I couldn't even read picture books, because of little baby whatsit finding his friends, and it's all so poignant.

cryer · 15/07/2019 12:44

Grin I made it through a scan without crying earlier. I'm sure in my notes they have written 'cries at the drop of a hat'. I gave myself a pat on the back when I left.

I was reading a really funny thread in classics that was cracking me up, only my body got confused and instead of laughing I cried! The more I felt the urge to laugh the harder I sobbed Confused pregnancy is WEIRD.

Isaididont · 15/07/2019 14:34

A lot in my first trimester. I remember crying because I couldn’t find something I needed in the cupboard. I also cried at an advert that had a puppy in it because the puppy was so beautiful. I don’t even like dogs. I cried at anything on the tv that had a baby or child in it.

granhands1 · 15/07/2019 21:56

I cried because my jacket potato wasn't ready

PoppingOneOutIn2020 · 15/07/2019 22:02

I havent cried at my early scan or my 11 week scan.

However I cried when a patient thanked me today.

I cried on the weekens because DP was peeping on me failing to do up my jeans and still called me beautiful.

I'm crying now because I'm reading about why you're all crying Sad

katmarie · 15/07/2019 22:03

Im 26 weeks. I cried five minutes ago because I tripped over the dog water bowl and splashed water on the floor. I cry a lot at the moment.

hidinginthenightgarden · 15/07/2019 22:04

I cried loads and 5 years later still cry all the bloody time!

JoJoSM2 · 15/07/2019 22:05

I didn’t cry at all.

Ohyesiam · 15/07/2019 22:07

I cried for the first 14 weeks with my first. I think the mws are used to it.

ememem84 · 15/07/2019 22:10

I’m 38 weeks. I cried this evening because my legs hurt. And because ds was crying about not wanting to go to sleep. I’ve just put him back in his cot and I’ve hurt my back lifting him. So I cried again.

I hate this

pregnantncnc · 15/07/2019 22:16

Yes. Crying. All the time.

I cried this morning because I had to go to work and was exhausted (I've had a week off). I cried this evening because I didn't know what to eat for dinner. I cried after that because I stepped in water and my socks got wet. I cry every time someone does something nice for me, and am FURIOUS when people are rude/unkind (I work in a public facing role, so it's often!). I feel like a toddler in one of those "reasons my toddler is crying" posts.

Tellmemoretellmemore · 15/07/2019 22:27

I think I cried most days during the second half of my pregnancy. I remember absolutely sobbing my little heart out during an antenatal yoga class. Cried in the office quite a lot too.

Congratulations Grin

RockysMa · 15/07/2019 22:37

Oh I cried A LOT Op. Had to pull the car over on my way to work one day as a song came on the radio (I'm not in love by 10cc Confused). Was in bits the whole day. My nickname was Tiny Tears for a while.

Mine's nearly 11, and I'm still crying ...
Congratulations. X

DuesToTheDirt · 15/07/2019 22:59

I didn't cry, I got the giggles a lot! I fell about laughing at the size of DD's baby socks... DH thought I was nuts.

DeadDoorpost · 15/07/2019 23:02

Frequently. But then I've got PND still from the birth of DS 19 months ago AND perinatal depression because of the Hyperemesis and stress I'm under due to our current living situations etc.

Fun.

McShakey · 15/07/2019 23:09

heidipi · 15/07/2019 23:29
