Words With Friends

Recently it's like WWF has become a dating app. Or similar! Been playing it for years but the last few weeks I keep getting match requests from men my age (67) and then they want to chat, ask for my email address, want to get friendly etc. As I'm an extreme introvert I ignore them but is so annoying!
My DD is also getting it and also other friends who play. WTF is going on?

Ew, that's nasty. When I was having a problem with the game crashing all the time, I contacted the help desk and they were quite good, maybe try reporting this? Or just say no to match requests from strangers.

Never happened to me. The only man who contacted me was my friend’s Dad and he just wanted someone else to play with.

This used to happen to me years ago. Nothing in last few years, but I’m now only been playing the same couple of people for past few years (no idea who they are but we’re evenly matched!

@Bloodybridget yes I think I will report it. It's happening to a few people I know who play it so I'm wondering why it's all of a sudden.

I decline all match requests under a certain average😄

Sorry I know this is an old thread but I came on to say exactly this!! It's so annoying. I come on to play the game and nothing else. Women never get in touch (perfect) but every single man that challenges you does.

You can't win as if you ignore them they leave the game. If you respond with a few pleasantries they take it as a sign you are interested. It's not a problem as such as, as others have pointed out - you can just ignore them but it's just annoying. Why don't they just use a dating app if they are after that? I am single but not looking to meet anyone.. but they all seem to assume everyone is on there for that! Hmm
