It doesn't seem 2 minutes since I finally found out I was pregnant let alone giving birth, now my little baby is 6 months and I'm starting to wean him from tomorrow. I feel really sad that I won't be his only means of feeding from tomorrow 😢😢

Where is the pause button please!!!!

Life is full of moments, stages, ages where you wish there was a pause button. This is just the first of many. Enjoy every stage of your baby's life, it all passes so quickly.

I know what you mean. I felt like this when I got to 6 months and weaned. I've been very, very lucky, and had very easy newborns/small babies, plus excellent maternity pay and I enjoyed breastfeeding and going to all the baby groups and classes, so for six months I really did exist in a blissful small baby bubble, which I thoroughly enjoyed and often feel I could stay in forever!

I'm not the type to cry at each new stage either, not a tear shed on the first day of nursery/school, but weaning, yes!
We've always made a bit of a celebration of it because of this- bought a few nice baby recipe books, a nice new plate for baby. Bamboo bamboo have some gorgeous ones
