16mo DS wont go to sleep in his cot. Bedtime is 7-7.30ish. The only way we can get him to sleep is by one of us lying beside him on a bed playing some music. We can sometimes transfer him into the cot asleep but if he wakes up during the transfer he cries his eyes out and then is wide awake until 10ish. So we end up co-sleeping just so we can all get a decent sleep.
Putting him in his cot awake results in him just standing up sobbing his heart out no matter how much we talk to him, play music, sit with him etc.
Any tips?
